This policy explains what personal data Accentuated Leadership™ collects through this website and the associated assessment platform, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to reflect good practice under other major privacy laws where our visitors are based.

1. Who we are

Accentuated Leadership™ is operated by Sarma PVBP, sole author and data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: contact@accentuatedleadership.com.

3. How long we keep it

• Contact and partner enquiries: retained for up to 3 years from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless a partnership or engagement is ongoing.
• Assessment platform accounts and results: retained for the duration of your access period plus a reasonable period afterwards to allow you to request your data, then deleted or anonymised, unless you or your organisation ask us to retain it for ongoing development tracking.
• Diagnostic tool submissions: retained for up to 12 months, used only to send your result and, where you've agreed, occasional relevant follow-up.
• Analytics data: retained per the provider's standard retention window (typically 14 months), and only collected at all if you accept analytics cookies.

4. Who we share it with

We keep third-party sharing to the minimum needed to run the service:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, database, authentication, functions) as our infrastructure processor.
• Brevo (email delivery) to send assessment results, confirmations, and replies.
• Lemon Squeezy (payment processing) if you purchase a paid assessment, they handle payment details directly, we do not store card numbers.
• Google Analytics, only if you actively accept analytics cookies via the cookie banner. We do not enable Google Signals or ad personalisation, so this data is not used for advertising and is not linked to ad profiles.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

5. International transfers

Our primary database is hosted in the EU (Firestore, region eur3). Some backend processing (Cloud Functions) and our email and payment providers may process data outside the EU/UK, including in the United States, under their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. We are working to keep as much of this processing as practical within the EU as our infrastructure evolves.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• Confirm what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), where we're not required to keep it.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (this won't affect processing already carried out).

To exercise any of these, email support@accentuatedleadership.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UAE, the relevant free-zone or federal data office; in the EU, your national supervisory authority).

7. Cookies

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies by default. Any analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept them via the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for full details and how to change your choice at any time.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls restricting who can view or export data, and restricted write access to our content and enquiry systems.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
